I say I have "cinematic daydreams" because the visions swirling around my mind look like dreamy scenes from a movie I have never seen; every shoot is chasing another one of those daydreams, and bringing it to the visual world. This shapes my approach to every shoot. I let my mind guide me in every moment during a photo session - this can sometimes lead us in fun adventures, interesting situations (a dining table in the ocean?), or trying new things - but the portraits we walk away with are nothing short of moving, raw, brilliant captures of you, your moments, your legacy.
Every year since I began photography in 2018, I have only grown more passionate and focused on exploring the medium, stretching boundaries, and expanding the horizon of wedding and portrait photography. Having explored many, many different art forms, I found that photography fulfills something unspoken inside of my soul. Why? I'm still figuring that out, but I think the smiles and joy and (sometimes) tears from each person I work with when they get receive gallery has something to do with it. Photography is art that documents history, stories, legacies - your history, your story, your legacy.
When designing your photography session, I like to incorporate essences of who you are. I take the time to talk with you, understand really why you are getting photos captured, and what makes you you. Then honestly, I sit with that for a while, go into my cinematic daydream world and catch a vision for our time together. We are sure to create unique and powerful images together!
If you are reading this then you may be considering working with me, so I would like to thank you for just the consideration and ultimately your time. Looking at my work and reading about it means much more to me than you know.

What is pricing based on?
Prices are based on a few factors: demand, time, and gear. As demand increases for my work, my prices reflect that so I can keep my work/life balance in check. Next is time, for every wedding about 3,000-5,500 photos are taken throughout the day. When I begin editing I must do what is called "culling" and go through every single one to select the best. Then I must edit those chosen ones. As you might imagine, this takes quite a bit of time - about 2-3 hours for every hour spent at your wedding. Finally, camera gear is expensive! A quality photographer has quality gear that needs to be maintained and upgraded. It's a healthy combination of all these factors and experience that determines the price of my work.
How many photos do you deliver?
Weddings typically receive anywhere between 500-1000 photos (depending on length of wedding). All other photoshoots receive 200-400.
How do I print my photos?
Once you download your photos, you can print them anywhere you'd like. However, for the best prints possible, please let me know you would like to order prints and we will get your fabulous photos delivered right to your door! All sorts of prints are available from frames to canvas, wood, metal and more.
How far do you travel?
There really is no destination too far! There are travel fees for weddings and shoots outside of my local area (Tuolumne County, California).
Areas I shoot frequently are Santa Cruz, Big Sur, San Francisco, Napa Valley, Yosemite, and Sacramento. I would love to do some work in these areas soon: Hawaii, Utah, Arizona, Washington, New Mexico, Canada, New York, Florida.
How will I receive my photos?
You will receive your gallery digitally. What this means is I will email you a link to a website that has just your photos. From there you will download the full gallery to a thumb drive, hard drive, or computer for safe keeping.
When do I receive my photos?
All galleries can be expected 30 days after your shoot or wedding. If your balance is failed to be paid within 48 hours of your shoot or wedding, your photos go to the end of my queue and can take up to 6 months to be delivered.
